Franz Kafka

Franz Kafka grew up in a toxic environment. He was often in competition to his father and seeking the love from his mother his entire life. Kafka wrote letter, novels, and diaries which expressed his emptiness throughout his childhood. He only got worse as he grew up and faced self-doubt and lack of confidence. He then developed tuberculosis which led to his death and a young age.

Social Epidemic Depression

Depression is a social epidemic across the world. It is not easily seen in loved ones. The stereotype for depression is people being sad, however there is so much more. There is so much more to be done about this topic and solutions to be made. Symptoms vary from everyone, and this is why it is not so easy to understand. The root of depression is often childhood or trauma we have faced in our lives. Feelings of being alone, worthless, hopeless, or trapped in the dark can all be signs of depression. Suicide is one of the highest causes of death in the U.S. and should be looked at more seriously. There are however some solutions to depression. these include therapy, medication, or self-care methods. All cases need different solutions that work for them.
